Geneva, 4th October 2017 - To meet the growing demand from TAG Aviation’s customers and to ensure the widest range of aircraft maintenance provisions, TAG Aviation Maintenance Services Centre in Geneva has recently expanded its on-site aircraft refurbishment proficiencies.
Aircraft Interior Cabin Wood Re-Varnishing Solution
TAG Geneva’s Maintenance Services Centre has introduced an ‘off the shelf’ cabin wood re-varnishing process for aircraft cabin interiors following research undertaken by TAG’s Part 21 DOA department. This innovative solution comprises a range of ready-to-go interior wood varnishing finishes (ranging from matt to ultra-gloss) for all types of wood within the cabin. This enhanced offering dramatically reduces the turn-around for any cabin wood interior project.
Introducing Partial Exterior Paint Refurbishment
In conjunction with major scheduled maintenance C-check inspections on Falcon aircraft types, TAG Geneva Maintenance Services Centre now offers partial exterior paint refurbishments in line with the OEM’s requirements. This provides specific advantages for TAG Customers. In particular, minimising an aircraft’s downtime (compared to the project time for a full aircraft’s exterior re-paint) and is a far more competitive choice for aircraft owners.
New 3D Cabin Refurbishment Project Design Technology
To further streamline TAG’s range of aircraft refurbishment capabilities, TAG Maintenance Services has introduced a new 3D cabin configuration tool which can provide customers with the most extensive range of aircraft refurbishment interiors solutions. Developed in conjunction with a Swiss-based architect studio, the fully rendered 3D configurator can create the most popular cabin layouts with realistic representations of the selected materials and ambient lighting scenarios.
